Meet Our Team

Lead Pastor, Clark McCrary

Clark McCrary is an Irmese!  He graduated from Irmo High School, and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, and a Doctor Of Ministry from Luther Rice University and Seminary with a special emphasis in the development of Spiritual gifts.  His passion is introducing people to Jesus!

Clark and Allison have four grown children and one grandson.  Clark enjoys people!  His hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, and grilling!  Allison(also Irmese) is a partner in ministry!  She has a passion for Bible teaching and singing!  In her spare time she is a partner in two technology companies.

Minister of Music, Denise Tweito

Denise Tweito is no stranger to FBI. She and her family attended FBI for over 20 years. She attended Irmo High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Winthrop University. Denise married Daniel Tweito, her high school sweetheart in 1987 and moved to Rock Hill, SC where she taught chorus at Great Falls High School/Middle School and became the part- time minister of music at Lakewood Baptist Church. In 1989, they moved back to Columbia where Denise taught choral music at Pelion High School in Lexington One for 6 years. From 1995-2010, Denise taught choral music at Irmo Middle School in Lexington 5. She received National Board Teacher Certification in 2007. She has been a Southern Baptist girl all of her life. She has taught children’s choirs, sung in Adult Choirs and has been a featured soloist for many years. She has 2 wonderful boys, Joshua and Justin, a daughter in law, Carly and a beautiful grandson named Peter Josiah who was born June of 2013. Her husband Daniel works for Scana and he enjoys being a part of the Audio Visual team.

Her hobbies include: singing, reading and traveling

Our regular meeting times are Sunday morning at 8:40 in the Sanctuary, 10:00 am for Sunday School and 11:15 for a modern service in the Family Life Center. Also, Sunday night at 6pm and Wednesday night at 6 pm.
